I’d like to talk to you a bit about my fitness journey, and how I am where I am today.
I have been cautious of my weight throughout my life, but I never really decided to change any of it at all. Until one day, in high school, when my physics teacher made fun of me in front of everyone. On that day I decided, I’m gonna show him! But, that didn’t work out as much, I just kept gaining the weight back and just gave up eventually.
When I started my job, I’ve decided to try again. I contacted a local nutritionist, and got a meal plan designed for me. I’ve started that in February 2017, and stuck to it.
In July 2017, I decided that I want to join a gym as well. I had the money to hire a personal trainer, and so I did, because previously, every time I joined a gym, I don’t really know what I was doing. That went on well, but because I was working out really hard, and eating around 900 calories (yeah, that’s what the ‘nutritionist’ gave me) I started binging! This was around September or October of 2017. Ever since then, I’ve been trying to lose weight, not binge, calorie count, etc.. but I ended up gaining a lot of my weight back!
And this brings us to where I am now, I’m still binging, not dieting for the time being, and am focused on trying to find my maintenance calories and stick to that before I make my body go through that again.
